Summer Trilogy

Absence in Three Movements

I

In the mist of morning,

‘Til the warm embrace of evening,

With soft tears of longing

A bird awaits the return of the delicate flower

That soared east at the fifth bell of my shores

II

Ancient trace of orange and myrtle,

Rose bathed pearls forged

With the sands of time,

Tamed creatures

Dancing their

Song of

Love

III

In waves of silk

I send you my doves

Of wonder

To wrap your skin

In gold petals

From the garden

Of my desires
